I don't even have a title for this entry.

At times in life I wonder what art means to me and those times are the ones where I don't draw at all because, well, I probably don't have much to say. Gaming has been my main activity since September (in which I finished my summer job) and I have barely touched a pencil ever since. 

It does make me sad to have lost my determination on improving, in comparing my works to other fellow artists and try to make something unique. 

Perhaps soon I'll have something worth saying again...I surely hope so. In the meanwhile thanks to all of you who visit my page from time to time and to my followers. 

...as I was falling into the Abyss of Desperation I found a fantastic Geek Girl community online. It truly cheered me up and I found some pretty amazing people I hope to call Friends in the future.
So here comes Arcadeomicon which is...plainly put...a comic about myself having a great adventure *hears Belle's song from Beauty and the Beast*.
I went to art school wanting to make comics and yet, up until now, I have never made one. The first page I published means a lot to me, it's making me feel alive and it's the first step towards something I wanna create because it satisfies me. I hope I will get better and faster over time, to see my style change and improving and if any of you has any advice I will be more than happy to listen.

...as most of you have seen I haven't posted anything in a very, very long while. I decided at last to take a break from my artistic self and ravel in the fantastic world of gaming and stuff. 
So I wish you all very Happy Holidays and a grand New Year.

I thought I do post an update since I haven't written anything new in the last few months! Since August quite a few things happened, I did a course to become a tattoo artist and I finally bought all the necessary equipment so, at the moment, I'm practicing on my own on fake skin and pork rind (while making a portfolio to find an apprenticeship). It is fun and difficult at the same time but practice makes perfect...or so I heard.

With winter I usually become a huge fan of Harry Potter (although I always am). I even drew myself while receiving the letter from Hogwarts by owl...
At times like this I really feel like a hopeless muggle

Lately I have been really busy because of my summer job but I'm still sketching and reading on the train I take to get to work/home.
My latest read is "Share Your Work" by Austin Kleon and it's truly fantastic and inspiring. 
I'm learning a lot by reading it although I need to get used to a few concepts...like sharing something small everyday, I don't like to share unfinished works but I realize that many sketches and ideas I have (and had) will never reach the ending stage of a drawing so I might actually make a patchwork of sketches. It does feel rather exciting.

By the way am I the only one who thinks that How to Train Your Dragon 2 was a little too fast paced? Hiccup humor also felt a lot funnier in the first movie...I must say thought that the second one was visually fantastic and all those dragons were very inspiring.

Better get back to drawing.
